About me
Dr. Michael Kim
Dr. Kim is also trained in performing ultrasound-guided aspirates and biopsies along with other interventional techniques.
Dr. Kim has worked in several private practice specialty hospitals in the GTA and moved to Ottawa in 2014 to join the Alta Vista Animal Hospital whereby he became the Director of ICU. His professional interests lie in diagnostic imaging, small animal internal medicine, emergency and critical care and pharmacology.
Outside of work, Dr. Kim officiates basketball at the OUA university level, plays beach volleyball, goes to the driving range, as well as, enjoys exploring various restaurants in the area. His extended family includes three affectionate cats, Puss, Cheddar and Brie.
